Rejection Decision and Legal Remedies<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Giris\"><\/span><strong>Introduction<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exceptional acquisition of Turkish citizenship is regulated within the scope of Article 12 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901, serving as a special pathway to citizenship granted to foreigners who are deemed important in terms of the national security, public order, and economic and social interests of the Republic of Turkey. In this context, making an application does not alone mean that citizenship has been acquired; multiple administrative and legal stages are implemented following the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article, <strong>the stages followed after applying for exceptional Turkish citizenship<\/strong>, the evaluation of the application, the decision-making process, and the applicant's legal status are addressed in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Basvurunun_Sisteme_Alinmasi_ve_On_Inceleme\"><\/span><strong>1. In this evaluation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The applicant's contribution provided or to be provided to Turkey,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Their status in economic, social, scientific, athletic, or cultural fields,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public interest criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">are taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since exceptional citizenship is a discretionary administrative act, the administration has broad discretion at this stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Cumhurbaskani_Karari_Asamasi\"><\/span><strong>4. Presidential Decree Stage<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exceptional acquisition of Turkish citizenship <strong>Presidential Decree<\/strong> is possible through.
